Why Replace?
Don’t throw out your old heater. Here’s why you should replace your element.
Replacing the heater with a non-lensed heater of equivalent size (for example: our 1500 watt to their 1500 watt) would result in 1/5 the amount of heat delivered to the target.
Conversely, a new heater would have to be 5X the size of the original in order to get the same heat to the target. For example, a 15,000 watt non-lensed heater would be required to deliver the same heat as a 3,000 watt Radiant Optics Heater. The 15,000 watt heater would require replacing the current electrical circuit with one of higher capacity in addition to the cost of the heater.
Replacement Elements are available for model ELE and HZE electric heaters in 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V and 480V.
